Darren Garvin
– General Manager
Darren Garvin began his career with Quality Construction
in November of 1995. Initially hired as a Carpenter, he
was then promoted to Production Manager, then to Sales
Representative and as the company grew, he became the
General Manager in 2003. He was previously employed
with Suttle Construction for approximately a year
gaining valuable experience in both commercial and
residential construction. Raised in Tulsa, he attended
Tulsa Junior College, transferred to and graduated from
Oklahoma State University in 1994, with a degree in
Health Promotion. While at OSU, he met his future wife,
Jill, who also is now employed with Quality. Married
for 13 years, they have a 10 year-old son and 3 year-old
daughter. Besides sharing time with his family, Darren
enjoys vintage cars, golf, and OSU Football.

Mark
Ketelsleger – Sales Manager
Mark
Ketelsleger was born in Minnesota and raised in Great
Falls Montana. After three years at Montana State
University, he moved to Oklahoma City in 1983. After
two years at Central State University in Edmond, he
started his insurance career as an independent adjuster
for GAB in Lawton. Nine years later, he moved back to
Oklahoma City after accepting the metro area property
adjuster position offered by the Ohio Casualty Group.
After five years with Ohio Casualty, he moved to the
Sales Manager position at BMS, a major restoration
company servicing Oklahoma. Five years later, the
natural transition of serving the insurance industry and
policyholder continued with the reconstruction services
provided by Quality Construction Company. Since 2001,
Mark has enjoyed with great success, the new challenges
and opportunities afforded to him through Quality
Construction Company. Thanks to Quality Construction’s
reputation for service and quality in the industry, Mark
has been able to continue his passion of helping
customers while maintaining the respect of insurance
professionals. Mark and his wife enjoy raising
their 2 year old son and newborn daughter.

Jeremy Hume – Design / Build Remodeling & Insurance Sales
Jeremy Hume has been
happily employed by Quality Construction since 2003. He specializes in kitchen & bath design and
room additions, but can also help you with any Insurance
Restoration Project. He has been involved with the
Insurance Restoration Industry for over 10 years. He graduated from Southern Nazarene
University with a BS in Business. He is married to his
wife of twelve years, and has three children ages ten,
seven, and four. Jeremy has lived in the Oklahoma City
area for his entire life, has a deep love for this state
and city. His goal for each Quality Construction
potential “raving fan” is to listen to the customer’s
needs, provide the best advice possible, and to make
their experience with Quality as positive as possible.

Eric Guyer - Remodeling Sales
Eric Guyer has been in the Home Remodeling and
Construction industry since 1998. He was operating his
own company until the spring of 2007, when he decided to
join the Quality Construction sales team to focus on
what he does best. He is an Alumni of Southern
Nazarene University. After growing up in Central Africa,
he moved to Oklahoma City where he lives with his wife
of 10 years and one child. Eric loves urban life, old
homes, local art and great restaurants. He has a deep
desire to listen to the customer’s needs, provide the
best advice possible, and to make their experience as
memorable as possible, in a good way.

Don Hooper –
Operations Manager
Mr.
Hooper has been involved in management of production in
all aspects of residential and commercial construction.
Before joining Quality Construction, ten years ago, Mr.
Hooper was employed as a project manager for Timberlake
construction out of Oklahoma City. Mr. Hooper’s
experience while at Timberlake included the complete
management of commercial projects from the ground to
completion and included projects in Oklahoma, Kansas,
and Georgia with total budgetary and management
responsibility for projects in the twenty (20) to thirty
(30) million dollar range. Before joining Timberlake,
Mr. Hooper was employed with Can Am Construction out of
Oklahoma City and managed similar project for Can Am as
he did for Timberlake for a period of ten years. Before
joining Can Am, Mr. Hooper owned and managed his own
residential restoration company in Oklahoma City, which
was primarily focused on residential re-construction.
Prior to operating his own firm, Mr. Hooper was
responsible for management of large multi unit apartment
complexes, primarily in his home town of Norman,
Oklahoma.
With over forty (40) years of experience in construction
management, Mr. Hooper brings a wealth of knowledge to
his position. He is married to Debbie Hooper and has
three adult children whom he cherishes. Anyone would be
privileged to know Don Hooper and have him as a friend.

Cyra Miller -
Production Coordinator
Cyra Miller was born and raised in a small town outside
Boise, Idaho. She has been with Quality Construction
since her family moved to Oklahoma City in 2005.
Since joining Quality, she has had various roles,
from
helping design
our
company website to
running our office. She graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a BS in Business.
When our company decided to restructure the
production department in
October 2007,
Cyra
was
promoted from Office Manger to Production Coordinator
because of her strong organizational / computer skills
and business degree. Although she did not have any
construction knowledge or experience prior to working
for Quality, she has been able to learn a great deal
over the past two and a half years, applying her
business principles to become highly effective in her
position. In addition to coordinating projects with the
Operations Manager, Cyra also handles all of our
warranty issues. In her spare time, Cyra
enjoys spending time with her husband and 10-year old
son, who is into many sporting activities and keeps her
very busy.

Dan Peake –
Production Manager
Dan
Peake is a native OKIE, born and raised in Oklahoma
City, by parents, uncles, and grandparents all involved
in the construction industry. He spent his summer
vacations helping on construction sites, absorbing all
he could, working primarily with his dad, who was a
concrete contractor. At age 17, he went to work for a
roofing contractor learning various types of roofing.
Having gone through 6 years of wood shop in school, he decided to try out
his carpentry skills and started a framing crew with
several of his buds. He had a knack for it, enjoyed the
creative process, and grew his business to several crews
doing concrete, framing, and roofing. The transition to
homebuilder seemed natural and Dan chose to build
larger, custom homes, partially due to his fascination
and expertise in the framing process. He was unable to
find better quality cabinetry for his homes and so he
opened a custom cabinet company to fulfill his own
needs. This venture seemed to round out the creative
process and the business grew from 4 employees to over
50 as other homebuilders wanted his cabinets for their
homes as well. After being self-employed for 27 years
and working 70-hour weeks, he was ready to prioritize
time with his family. After some time off, Dan wanted
back in the business but without the headaches and
hassles of self-employment, so he joined Quality in 2004
where his skills and knowledge were put to use in their
remodeling division. It has been a great fit. He still
enjoys the building process and tries to make it fun and
exciting for the client. Dan has been married 28 years
and has 1 grown daughter.

Jim Staggs -
Production Manager
Originally from Southern
California, Jim moved to Oklahoma in 1974. Before
completion of high school, he spent his summers working
in the construction industry. This led him to his
current career path in management spanning over thirty
years. Jim's certifications, technical training and
licenses include the industries of fire and water
restoration, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, as well as the
many other facets of construction. He enjoys spending
his spare time at the gym relieving stress, picking at
the guitar, and working on weekend construction projects
at home with his wife and daughters.

Suzy Wolfe – Accounting Manager
Suzy is a native of Ohio, but after
living and raising three children in Oklahoma City, she
and her husband have officially adopted Oklahoma as
home. She joined the Quality team in 1999, after being
recruited to set up a new accounting system for the
rapidly growing business. Suzy came to Quality
Construction with 10 years of experience in accounting
while implementing new systems and controls for small,
growing businesses. She continues in this capacity with
her responsibilities encompassing HR, Health Care
Administrator, and Benefits Coordinator. Suzy has
experienced tremendous growth with the company and looks
forward to Quality’s continued success. When she is not
at work, you will find her sharing her time & expertise
volunteering in the community. She is actively involved
with her church, Putnam City Schools; as the Booster
Club treasurer and Football Director, and has served on
the board of several non-profit organizations.

Jill Garvin –
Marketing
Jill Garvin, an Oklahoma native, grew up
in Texas and then ventured back to Oklahoma with her
family when she was a sophomore in high school. She is
a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned
a Bachelors degree in Health Promotion in 1994. Upon
graduation Jill and her husband moved to the Oklahoma
City area where she worked in a strength and
conditioning facility and a physical therapy clinic. In
2000, she decided to take an opportunity to work for
Quality Construction. While here, she has worked as a
Customer Service Assistant, Coordinator of Handyman
Express, and is currently involved in marketing both
Quality Construction and 1-800 BoardUp. Working in
Marketing is a perfect fit for Jill’s friendliness and
outgoing personality. She enjoys her position because
she gets to work with many different people and has the
flexibility to spend a lot of time with her husband and
two children.

Tony Young - 1-800-BoardUp Director
Tony Young is our new Director of
Emergency Services for 1-800-BoardUp covering the
greater Oklahoma City metro area. His previous career
spanned nearly 26years with the Oklahoma City Fire
Department. Starting as a Fire Recruit in 1982, he
worked his way through the ranks to that of Deputy Fire
Chief and served as the Fire Dept’s Public Information
Officer. He was born and raised in the OKC area with the
exception of 1974-1980 when he lived in Florida & Kansas
City. His passion has been serving his community as a
firefighter, mentoring children and firefighters alike,
as well as coaching little league football, basketball &
baseball since 1997. Tony saw this opportunity to work
for 1-800-BoardUp as another way to help our citizens,
limiting their liability after fires, storms or
accidents involving their homes. Tony has been married
to his wife for 20 yrs, and has two children. He loves
to golf, hunt & fish.

Deborah
Henderson - Customer Service Assistant
Deborah Henderson, our newest team member, recently
relocated to Oklahoma City from Southern California.
She has been working in customer service, accounting and
office management for 18 years. Her favorite activities
outside of work are baking (cheesecakes are her
specialty), antique hunting, and fixing up her home with
her husband.
